Born December 16, 1997 "D" Litter. Genie, (my 5th home-bred champion and 3rd companion dog) is out of Ch. Oberland's Eli, CD and Ch. Bev's Kimberlite Cornerstone (Cori).

Genie was mother to my "H, J and K" litters, as well as the mother to all the squeaky toys in the house. Her nicknames were Genie-Beanie or simply the Bean. For you trivia buffs, Dash Riprock was Elimae Clampet's boyfriend on "The Beverly Hillbillies". Genie had quite the sense of humour and greeted everyone with her famous Genie "smile" . She never met anyone she did not like. She loved chasing the cats and would wait for them to come through the door.

In April 2005, Genie competed in the Saskatoon Working and Herding Specialty. She entered Veteran's Obedience and earned a qualifying score of 177.5 (that was her 5th time in the obedience ring). She also competed as a Veteran in the conformation ring and earned Best Female Veteran. She was a crowd pleaser on her recalls because instead of me saying "Genie come!" I would say "Genie milkbones!" Genie loved milkbones and would happily do her recall in anticipation of a milkbone.

On her 6th time in the obedience ring as a Veteran at 8.5 years of age, Genie earned a qualifying score of 192.
